RIGHT-TO-KNOW
As of  January 1, 2009, the latest version of the Open Records Act, the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Act (Act 3 of 2008) went into effect.

All records are presumed to be public records unless disclosure is barred by: 

 1) State or Federal Law or regulation, or judicial order 
2) privilege, e.g., attorney-client, doctor-patient
3) one of the exceptions in Section 708 of the Right-to-Know Law.
